17th Annual P.
Buckley Moss Raffle
This is the 17th
consecutive year that Moss has donated a
print to Boys’ Home for the fall raffle.
"The River’s Joy" #15 is valued at over
$500 framed. The piece was framed by Loving
Frame and Art of Covington and signed by Ms.
Moss.
The work shows a
fisherman enjoying the river and its
surroundings. The proceeds from this raffle
will benefit programs at Boys’ Home. The
drawing will take place on October 16th,
2008.

Subway Provides
Dinner for Boys’ Home
On May 22, 2008
Lisa Higgins, manager of Subway in
Covington, VA provided Boys’ Home staff and
residents with dinner. The spread included
subs, chips, and cookies.
Mrs. Higgins
contacted Executive Director Donnie Wheatley
about doing this as a reward for the Boys’
hard work during the 2007-2008 school year.
This was a treat
that was enjoyed by everyone on the "Hill."
